The other football

After a serious lack of American football, Kel and I headed off to the Rugby 7s for a packed weekend of rugby matches of all kinds. I have to say there's nothing like seeing women scrumming around, but I was impressed none the less.

Basically, as much in Dubai, it was a drink fest. With the purchase of a 12 pack of Heinekin, you received a free cooler. Not willing to turn down a bargain, we joined the rest of the crowd with our very own refill service. The stands were pretty packed, so we found a place right up next to the end zone (or whatever it's called) and had a pretty good view of the action.

Another highlight of the weekend was the costumes. From smurfs to has been super heroes, our people watching was almost as intense as the matches. Ok, maybe more so!

Those rugby guys in shorts though - nice!
